Highgate, London. The legendary bookshop Ripping Yarns is forced to close due to extortionate rent hikes.  The  Monty Python team loved the idea of a bookshop honouring their hilarious TV show and it was frequented by people from all over the world including  such names  as Peter O’Toole and  Ralph Steadman.   Owner and actor Celia Hewitt recounts  it’s illustrious history.  Her late husband the celebrated poet Adrian Mitchell held memorable readings here and the space is still sorely missed by all people who love books.
